You can find in Berlin numerous decent hotels of any category. In the city, fair single rooms are charged about 75 € and over. Prices in outer districts are not very different.

During international events (Grüne Woche in January; Filmfestival in February; Internationale Tourismusbörse ITB in March; Love Parade in July; Internationale Funkausstellung IFA in September, odd-numbered years only), most hotels take an extra charge of 50% and over!
